You’re not alone in this
Being a father who is separated from your children, for whatever reason, is one of the hardest things that can happen to a man. Losing contact can leave you feeling helpless, alone and stripped of your identity. The grief is real. So are the shame and the anger. And there is the silence, because this is something men are expected to get on with quietly.
I know because I’ve been there. I went through the family legal system myself: solicitors, sheriffs and the financial pressure that comes with it, on top of the emotional weight. What struck me was how little empathy or understanding there was for dads in that position, and how hard it can be just to have a relationship with your own kids.
My coaching comes from that lived experience. And from where you are today, there is hope.
